Description

The Medfusion 2010 syringe pump provides a continuous, bolus, or intermittent delivery whenever meticulous low volume drug or fluid injections using a syringe are required in the hospital. All medications should be delivered in accordance with their approved drug labeling. In the body weight mode, the pump may be programmed to deliver in mcg/kg/min, mcg/kg/HR, MG/kg/min, and MG/kg/HR. Other infusion modes may also be programmed such as volume over time. The Medfusion 2010 Syringe Pump holds a full complement of disposable syringes (e.g., 1 through 60 ml). The Medfusion 2010 Syringe Pump offers flexibility and value for a variety of clinical needs, settings and applications. The pump may be utilized whenever meticulous low volume drug on fluid injections using a syringe are required in the hospital. A choice of 15 modes of delivery are available. Other features include:

• Infusion Modes

• Body Weight Mode where mass units (eg mg or mcg) are delivered per weight (eg kg) per time (eg minute or hour). Rates for this mode would be programmed in mg per kilogram per minute or per hour and mcg per kg per minute or per hour

• Mass Mode where mass units (eg mg, mU, U) are delivered per time (eg minutes or hours)

• Continuous Mode where volume (eg mL) is delivered per time (eg minutes or hours). Rates for this example would be programmed in mL per hour or mL per minute

• Volume over time Mode where the total delivery volume in mL and the desired delivery time in hours and minutes are programmed individually
